Atlanta NAS is located in Marietta, GA which is
20 miles north of Atlanta. Atlanta NAS houses 4th Low Altitude Air Defense
Battalion, Marine Aircraft Groups 48 and 42, Strike Attack Fighter Squadron 203,
Commander, Carrier Air Wing 20 among others. There are over 1,500 active
duty members and more than 5,000 dependents, civilians and reservists aboard
